

See this (soundless) video I quickly made: FreeCAD PartDesign_Mirrored_Feature (YouTube) You cannot edit the geometry directly, but you can change it through the sketches and the 3D features. So you can pad a circle to create a pin on the block, then create a mirrored feature to mirror the pin.

In the PartDesign workbench you have pretty useful transformation features that can pattern or mirror a selected feature. That being said, you can do some of the same things in FreeCAD. FreeCAD does not have that, and it would be a huge undertaking to implement it. What you see in DesignSpark is called direct editing. As far as I have seen FreeCad allows only 2D symmetry constraints that can be set in Sketcher.
